After an amazing nearly 400 pounds of candy collected in 2017, Dental Designs of White Marsh returns for their fourth year with Operation Gratitude to offer their annual Halloween Candy Buy-Back program. Have left-over candy from Halloween that you don’t know what to do with? Why not put it towards a good cause by donating it to our brave and hard-working troops serving oversees! Dental Designs of White Marsh will be collecting candy by the pound on Thursday, November 1st through Friday, November 9th to send as part of the care packages provided by Operation Gratitude. As an extra bonus, all donors will also be given $1 per pound of candy donated, up to 5lb per person! You do not need to a patient of the practice to participate, and Dental Designs of White Marsh encourages everybody in the community to come donate their unwanted candy for a good cause. Last year DDWM partnered up with various local businesses including the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Curves of White Marsh, Postman Plus Perry Hall, and more to collect over 400lb of candy, putting us in the top 1% of all businesses participating. We are hoping this year brings us even more good fortune, allowing us to give in our small way, to those brave men and women serving our country. Operation Gratitude annually sends 150,000+ care packages filled with snacks, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, plus personal letters of appreciation, to U.S. military deployed overseas.
